At Yasodhara Ashram, we aspire to build sacred space within and without. Our yoga practices nourish the inner temple, and our daily activities honour the 115 acres of sacred land we steward.
A Temple, a space dedicated to the sacred, has a larger symbolic significance to our community and beyond. As the world becomes more and more hectic, fast-paced and competitive, we recognize that it is of great importance to create spaces of quiet, light and hope.
The Temple of Light acts as meeting place, a refuge. It is a space designated for solace. It holds our prayers. It is open to all who desire to meet the Divine, at once intimate and communal.
